Family Air Experts is an HVAC service company located in Fort Pierce, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website, the FAE Tech mobile app, or our services.

- Service records — equipment on file at your property, prior service history, technician notes, and photos taken at your home during service visits

Customer records (name, address, phone, email, equipment on file, job notes, photos, and quotes) are synchronized with Sera, the field service software we use to dispatch technicians and process invoices. Data stored in Sera is governed by Sera’s privacy policy at sera.tech/privacy. We do not share customer information with advertising networks or analytics platforms beyond standard website traffic measurement.

- The FAE Tech Mobile App
Our technicians use an iPad app called FAE Tech during in-home visits. The app accesses the following on the technician’s iPad:
Camera and Photo Library — only when a technician taps “Add Photo,” “Take Photo,” or “Choose from Library.” We do not access the camera in the background or read your photos without explicit technician action. Photos taken document the HVAC equipment, diagnosis, or installation for the customer’s job record.
Photo watermarking — every photo a technician captures is automatically stamped with the date, time, technician name, and customer name. This protects both the customer and Family Air Experts in the event of a service dispute by establishing a clear record of when and where the work was performed.
Customer data displayed in the app — the app shows the technician your name, address, phone number, email, equipment history, and any photos previously taken at your property. This information comes from our Sera CRM. The app does not share this data with any third party other than Sera itself.
What the app does NOT do:
- It does not track the technician’s GPS location.
- It does not access your contacts, microphone, or files outside what the technician explicitly selects.
- It does not include advertising or analytics SDKs that track behavior.
- It does not sell or share data with marketing partners.
Customers may request deletion of photos or job records taken via the FAE Tech app by emailing info@familyairexperts.com with the date of service.
- Children’s Privacy
The FAE Tech app and our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
- California & Florida Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information (note: we do not sell). If you are a Florida resident, you have similar rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights effective July 2024. To exercise these rights, contact info@familyairexperts.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted on the website.
