Family Air Experts is proud to support Fairlawn Elementary Fort Pierce with a $500 donation helping provide additional resources and opportunities for local students.
Fairlawn is currently working toward a $2,000 fundraising goal to support students across each grade level. According to the school, the funds will help pay for Scholastic News subscriptions, Read-A-Thon treats, field trip costs and essential classroom supplies that teachers often purchase themselves.
When we learned what the school was raising money for, this felt like a meaningful opportunity to help. These are practical resources that reach directly into classrooms and student experiences, from having learning materials available during the school day to helping make an educational field trip more accessible.
There is also a personal connection for our team. Fairlawn is part of the everyday lives of several Family Air Experts families, with children from our own team attending the school. Supporting Fairlawn means supporting a school community that some of our employees and their families are already part of.

About Fairlawn Elementary Magnet School
Fairlawn Elementary Magnet School is part of St. Lucie Public Schools and is located in Fort Pierce. The school serves elementary students in an academically focused environment designed around challenging and engaging learning experiences.
Fairlawn also places a strong emphasis on creating a welcoming, family-centered environment and connecting the school with parents and the surrounding community. Its official school information specifically highlights community resources and family involvement as part of supporting student success.
That community connection is one of the reasons this particular donation matters to us.
Families can learn more about academics, school news, resources and upcoming activities through the official Fairlawn Elementary website.
What Our $500 Fairlawn Elementary Donation Helps Support
Fairlawn’s fundraising effort is focused on several areas that can directly affect students and teachers.
Scholastic News Subscriptions
Classroom resources like Scholastic News can give students age-appropriate opportunities to read about current events, science, history and other topics while strengthening reading and comprehension skills.
Providing subscriptions across grade levels helps put those materials into more students’ hands without shifting the cost back onto individual teachers.
Read-A-Thon Treats
Programs centered around reading can make literacy feel exciting and rewarding, especially for younger students.
Read-A-Thon treats are a relatively small piece of the overall fundraising effort, but they help make these school activities fun and memorable for participating students.
Field Trip Costs
Some of the most memorable learning experiences happen outside the classroom.
Fairlawn students regularly participate in educational activities beyond campus. For example, first-grade students recently visited the Indian River State College Planetarium as part of a learning experience focused on the sun, moon, stars and planets.
Helping offset field trip expenses can make experiences like these easier for the school and families to provide.
Essential Classroom Supplies
Teachers routinely need materials that go beyond what is readily available in a classroom budget.
Part of Fairlawn’s fundraising goal is specifically intended to help purchase classroom supplies that teachers might otherwise pay for personally.
That stood out to us. A classroom should have the resources students need without teachers constantly having to reach into their own pockets to fill the gaps.
Why Supporting Fairlawn Elementary Fort Pierce Matters to Us
Supporting Fairlawn Elementary Fort Pierce is another way Family Air Experts can invest directly in the community where we live, work and raise our own families.
Schools have an enormous influence on a community. They educate children, connect families, create friendships and provide experiences that students may remember for the rest of their lives.
Our $500 contribution is only one piece of Fairlawn’s larger $2,000 fundraising goal, but community support adds up. A few local families and businesses choosing to participate can make a meaningful difference in what a school is able to provide.
For Family Air Experts, community involvement is not only about sponsoring large events. Sometimes it means helping fund a field trip, putting reading materials into classrooms, or making sure a teacher has supplies available without having to purchase everything personally.
Those smaller, practical contributions matter too.
A School That Is Already Part of the Family Air Experts Community
This partnership is particularly close to home because members of the Family Air Experts team have children attending Fairlawn.
That means our connection to the school exists beyond our company logo appearing in a newsletter or on a supporter sign. Our team members experience the school as parents, see their children come home from class, hear about school activities and watch them grow within the Fairlawn community.
It makes supporting the school’s fundraising efforts feel less like a traditional business sponsorship and more like neighbors helping a school that is already part of our extended community.
We are grateful to Fairlawn for the work its teachers, staff, families and volunteers put into creating those experiences for local students.
Helping Local Schools and Families Thrive
Family Air Experts is a family-owned company serving Fort Pierce and communities throughout the Treasure Coast. We believe being part of a community also means finding ways to contribute to the organizations that make it stronger.
Our support for Fairlawn joins our growing involvement with local youth sports, educational programs, community organizations and charitable initiatives throughout the area.
We are proud to contribute $500 toward Fairlawn’s fundraising goal and hope other local families and businesses will consider supporting the school when opportunities arise.
